BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 162(0-2) T, mintmark q (retrograde P) over P, quadrants of cross transposed, "flat" lions, Grade 1. S-P21; KM-10; Cal-Type 165. 25.91 grams. Bold and full but off-center shield with full q/P mintmark and assayer T to left, good full cross with new lions that began alternating with normal lions in 1620, clear bottom of 162 of date, only light surface corrosion, contrasting toning in crevices.
